I am a homeschooling mother of 2 boys, nature enthusiast, and advocate for children in nature! One of my favorite things in the whole world is watching children discover our beautiful earth!
On the academic side, I have my degree in Biology and Chemistry as well as 500RYT(advanced yoga teacher). I'm also certified in both CPR and First Aid. I have been working with kids since the young age of 14 where I taught swim lessons to young children every summer. I then went on the be a kids camp counselor at the local YMCA, followed by a track and field coach for Bosque School coaching both middle school and high school students.
My latest experience of homeschooling my oldest son has shifted my view on education. I now see children as my greatest teachers vs. the other way around. I've learned that children will be drawn to the subjects and activities that feed their souls when they are given the freedom to choose. I think of my job as Nature Facilitator to keep them asking questions and staying excited and curious about the world around them interjecting interesting facts along the way. Its my mission to create life long learners because if one loves learning, one loves life!
Welcome to Nature Kids! A place where children ages 7-11 come to learn in the forest. We meet in our beautiful Bosque every Friday for a day of nature fun and forest activities.

Cost $40/day tuition paid monthly or in full!
Must commit to the entire fall unit
